2023 Presidential Zikomo Award

In 2023, Wandikweza received the Presidential Zikomo Award in recognition of its contribution to strengthening maternal and child healthcare and bringing care closer to smallholder farming families. Presented by the President of the Republic of Malawi, the award reflects the dedication of frontline teams, the trust of communities and the power of partnerships in advancing more accessible and responsive healthcare systems. It affirmed the belief that health systems can be redesigned to reach people earlier, more continuously, and in time.
