Strategic Partners

Wandikweza works hand in hand with public health facilities and like-minded organizations to expand our reach and deepen our impact. Central to our approach is strong collaboration with District Health Management Teams (DHMTs) in the districts we serve in Malawi.

Together, we co-design, implement and monitor Proactive Doorstep Care (PDC) initiatives, ensuring that maternal, newborn and child health services are accessible, community-rooted and aligned with national priorities. These strategic partnerships help us integrate seamlessly with the public health system, avoid duplication and ensure long-term sustainability in even the most underserved communities.

Delivering impacts through partnerships

Wandikweza collaborates closely with District Health Management Teams (DHMTs) as an expert ally blending technical expertise with a flexible, community-rooted approach. Our goal is to maximize impact while minimizing complexity and cost. Acting as a force multiplier in the community-based maternal and child health ecosystem, we help districts overcome key barriers to scale, mobilizing local resources, strengthening systems and fostering long-term capacity and ownership.

Through this partnership, we co-design, implement, and monitor Proactive Doorstep Care (PDC) programs that are integrated within district plans and aligned with national priorities. At the grassroots level, we engage with Village Health Committees to raise awareness, promote health-seeking behavior, and support locally tailored healthcare solutions.

We also partner with like-minded organizations and foundations that share our mission. We combine strengths, resources and platforms to expand the reach of PDC into areas where it is most needed. In collaboration with expert technical partners, we continue to refine our model and scale its impact, ensuring that no woman or child is left behind.
